Microplastics and Me
A panel discussion to understand and minimize (without being overwhelmed by) the impacts of microplastics on your health.
News about microplastics is everywhere — almost as ubiquitous as the little nuisances themselves. We’re here to help you understand the concerns about plastics and microplastics and to minimize their effects on your health. Join us on Thursday, November 19th, for an informative discussion led by panelists from our Hub Health Advisory team:
Bob Gedert
Author of Untangling Plastics: The Missing Link in Mitigating Climate Change
Dr. Evie Joseph
Pediatrician and co-founder of the Cincinnati Pediatric Research Group
Sue Magness
Recycling Coordinator, City of Cincinnati Office of Environment and Sustainability
Hong-Sheng Wang, PhD
Professor of pharmacology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
